Renshi Mike started his Martial Arts training in 1972 in Shotokan Karate. He has had brief training in Kung-Fu, Tang Soo Do and Kenpo. Mike attained his 1^st degree black belt in 1992 and currently holds the rank of 4th degree black belt. He has been in the North Shore area for over 25 years and has taught Shotokan Karate throughout this time. During his Martial Arts career he has competed in numerous karate tournaments, has several 1^st place trophies as well as grand championships and continues to compete today. Mike is also certified in First aid CPR and AED.
